    Sorry I didn't get back sooner. Been watching the president who must be a vandy alum from his economic views. He wants all you vandy fans to start school at 3 or 4 so you want get behind. He wants to mange your money for you so they can get their cut and want to have actually do any work themselves. Never bet on a sure thing, that is stealing.

  • All UT has is "history". You do not have to be a Vanderbilt fan to know that UT has not been relevant in 5 or 6 years. Do not talk academic standards being lowered or raised. When UT has it best standards for football players they still are way below Vanderbilt. Have you checked the football graduation rates for the last 5 years? UT is not winning and it is not graduating as many players as 2/3 of the SEC. You hired your 5th or 6th choice for a coach because nobody wanted to be at UT. Times are bad for the might Vols and as one of your rivials we love it.

    Barring some kind of miricle, you will be lucky to win 7 games this year. 2014 might be worse because you lose a ton after this year. But, you USED to be a good program and that is something to be proud of. Do you want to talk baseball?

In fact, I would go so far as to say Vandy has act 2 and stomps the hell out of BUTCHUGGER U again in front of 50k people. By that time, the bandwagon will be completely empty.

    Talk like that will get you took behind the woodshed. But you just sit back and enjoy you're two wins every 30 years or so.

  • I know the 2013 top 25 this early is silly. I did see where Vanderbilt is ranked in a few of them though. Maybe when they release the 2013 pre-season top 100 we will see UT. But, then again maybe not. Every 30 year wins, your national championship.. blah blah blah. Last time UT was relevent the 2014 class was what.... 7 or 8??? You are a bottom feeder in the SEC RIGHT NOW!!!!!!

  • So Vandy finishes behind Tennessee in recruiting (UT 25th, Vandy 30th), has the only coach left in the SEC that ever lost to Derek Dooley, and has not won back to back seasons against the Vols since the 1920's. The Tennessee fans came to this article because the kid was talking about being recruited by the Vols. I would like to thank each of the 'Dores fans that demonstrated education is not tantamount to class. Not saying every Vandy fan is this way or even a majority, but even a fine educational institution such as Vanderbilt has douchy people joining their bandwagon.

    Right, I should have realized that by paying for this site, to keep up to date my team, they are the worst coverage of recruiting in the industry. I mean if you want to use the composite rankings, it is composite because they took each of the recruiting services and averaged out their rankings for each team, then UT drops to 27th while Vandy tumbles to 35th. I apologize if using facts discredit your argument. Takes some time and do some research, things you should have learned while attending Vanderbilt, to show further proof why Vandy is the superior program in Tennessee.

  • I didnt say coverage i said rankings. Coverage is great rankings are garbage. I bet if Espn had yall ahead of us and not 24/7 you would be using their rankings soooooooo like i said ill take 3 over one that only uses half the class to "Rank" a class anyday. Best coverage around though i will give them that. Thats why im here.

    And by looking at the history, the fourth post was a UT fan stating what he believes our team needs to do to be successful. It would stand to reason that Vols fans came "trolling" if we had jumped in on page 3 or 4 to start commenting, but the 4th post, really?!?!? Please use your own advice in future posting.     Why are you people even here? Go away and concentrate on your own problems in life. If you want to think about college football, do it amongst yourselves and interact positively about your own program and its direction. If you don't want to think about football, go do something productive. Read a book. Go volunteer with kids in need. Exercise. Paint that room that your wife is always bugging you about.

    But for God's sake, please don't waste your time or our time trolling our boards. There's just no point. You think UT is the greatest. We think Vanderbilt is the greatest. Agree to disagree. Now go away.

    Can you please lock this thread so we can all move on from this stupidity?

    I think this is an important example for how the new policy for viewing premium content on other school sites needs to work. Fan bases on the whole are never going to see eye-to-eye. I think even allowing a premium member to see (but not reply to) comments from other school's premium members is playing with fire. I think the only practical method is to allow us to see the premium content from moderators only.
