Ferby on the mend and on the radar

    D'Andre Ferby is one of the top JRs in Nashville but an injury has limited his ability to show it. As he recovers from preseason surgery, he remains on the recruiting radar.

    What do you expect him to be rated Barton?

    He's already been rated as a three-star and an 85. He could go up obviously once he gets on the field.

    He has a four-star frame and body and probably has four-star upside athletically. Coaches over there have actually told me that he reminds them of Moses Osemwegie athletically in some regards but he's a legit 6-1. You see him and he really stands out. when he was out at the Vandy camp, he was one of the best looking guys out there.

    If things click for him once he gets healthy, he's got a ton of upside.

  • He's good at catching the football too, for a fullback type guy. He was actually a WR in 8th grade at Rock Springs Middle and had lots of LONG receptions.
